Alnmouth Boathouse is located on a quiet side street in the heart of Alnmouth leading down towards the beach. This is a popular seaside village, with its Ballamory style houses located on an estuary and close to Warkworth.  A superb location and within steps of a really great deli, good friendly local pubs, golf club, gift shops, art gallery and huge expanse of Northumbrian beach. The fabulous Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens are just a 10 minute drive away.

A beautifully thought out couple's hideaway in a quiet side street in the heart of the popular village of Alnmouth. The contemporary timber clad exterior invites guests into a compact but tastefully decorated holiday abode. This coastal getaway has been recently renovated to its impeccable state by its owners, who handily live next door. A short walk will take you to the shops, golf club and eateries and, of course, the spectacular beach.

The interior is designed with largely first floor accommodation and full height windows to take advantage of the light and the lovely sea and village view. The gorgeous interior is furnished with an eclectic mix of contemporary and antique furniture and is completed with thoughtful touches throughout. The fully equipped kitchen boasts all the mod cons with integrated appliances, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and features hand painted kitchen units with timber worktops. Sink into the master bedroom's huge king sized bed - guaranteed a good nights sleep and wake up to an invigorating power shower in the large walk in style luxury en-suite. The ground floor dining hallway with has a table and chairs for 4 people. Externally guests can catch a few rays from the private courtyard garden decked with outdoor bistro table and chairs.

With a number of steps both outside and inside the property, this would not be suitable for those with mobility problems.

Location and things to do in Northumberland

Alnmouth is located on the Estuary of the river Aln in Northumberland. The seaside village is easily accessible from the A1 and is 5 miles away from the ancient market town of Alnwick. Alternatively you can arrive by train via the Alnmouth train station in Bilton, which is on the East Coast Main Line. Its location is also central within Northumberland, thereby giving easy access to all the attractions including Bamburgh, The Farne Islands, Holy Island, the medieval and picturesque village of Warkworth and Alnwick, with the world famous Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle.
