Loch Ness Lodge is a stunning boutique restaurant with rooms. The breathtaking views across the Loch make this a perfect place to stay for your romantic getaway.

Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands with majestic views over the world famous Loch Ness, the Lodge is a luxurious, boutique Restaurant with Rooms.  This gem is perfect for your romantic getaway and was recently voted Small Luxury Hotel of the Year 2010 in the Scottish Hotel Awards.  Only 15 minutes away from Inverness airport or around 3.5 hours scenic drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow, the Lodge is easily accessible.

The Lodge is a family run business and features a tasteful blend of contemporary design and traditional Highland architecture and colour tones.  With its friendly and relaxed ambience it is more like a home from home in sumptuous surroundings.

Full of natural light, the drawing room is elegantly furnished with a blend of antiques and contemporary artworks. In the snug the textures of the soft furnishings include traditional tweeds and silks in hues which reflect the surrounding environment.  In either room you can relax in front of the fire with a book or a glass of wine before dinner and absorb the breathtaking views of the Loch. There are original oil paintings on display depicting the striking colours and ruggedness of the landscape.

There are just 7 exquisite luxury bedrooms at the Lodge, each one named after a beautiful Highland loch or glen.  Each room is individually styled to a different colour palette, reflecting an aspect of the surrounding countryside.  Fabrics include rich crushed velvets, oatmeal linens, purple taffeta and oyster silk and some rooms have additional features such as Jacuzzi or roll top bath.  Most rooms have amazing views of the loch and the rolling hills to wake up to.

For a special time away, you can celebrate with a romantic dinner for two in the Lodge's intimate dining room and on a warm summer's night you can enjoy an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the loch. Ross and Craig, the highly skilled chefs work closely with local suppliers to provide fresh, organic and locally sourced produce wherever possible serving fine, creative Franco-Scottish style cuisine.

The restaurant has recently been awarded the prestigious EatScotland Gold award, and the exceptional quality of the food is complemented perfectly by the professional, discrete service offered by the welcoming, knowledgeable restaurant team.  At breakfast the selection of home-made yoghurt, muesli and fruit compotes, fresh pancakes with caramelised banana or the full Highland breakfast will certainly set you up for the day ahead.

There is plenty to do around the area to suit all tastes from hill walking, fishing and shooting to pony trekking, mountain biking or kayaking. Alternatively you can just take a leisurely stroll around the gardens or enjoy a boat trip on the Loch stopping off at the ancient Urquhart Castle. Should you need some indulgent pampering after the day's leisure pursuits you can luxuriate in the Escape Spa and Therapy suite, where you will relax in the hot tub and sauna and soon feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the world again.

Your romantic stay at Loch Ness Lodge will be a most memorable one, as one visitor had suggested, ‘The magic of Loch Ness has come ashore at this cosy but sumptuous Lodge'.  Please visit the website for special breaks and tariff details and don't forget to mention " Away without the Kids"  when booking.
